Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Decumani Police Station, during their designated duties, noticed a woman at a window of a building in the historic center who, in exchange for a banknote, handed something to a person.
The police, promptly intervening, reached and blocked the latter, finding her in possession of a package of hashish weighing about 2.7 grams. Having reasonable grounds to believe that there might be further elements related to the ongoing investigation, they conducted a search of the suspect’s residence. Inside the apartment, they found, in a kitchen drawer, another 4 packages of the same substance weighing about 11 grams, a bag containing approximately 85 grams of cocaine, and 50 euros.
Additionally, in a safe, the officers found nine blocks of hashish weighing about 800 grams. For these reasons, the suspect, a 75-year-old Neapolitan woman with prior police records, including specific ones, was arrested for illegal possession and distribution of narcotics. The buyer, on the other hand, was administratively sanctioned for possession of narcotics for personal use.
