1,152 cannabis plants discovered in Cretan monastery!

An unprecedented discovery in a Cretan monastery: 1,152 cannabis plants. Many of them have prayer beads on their branches, so maybe it’s to pray for a good harvest…? The plant is estimated to yield one tonne of hashish and approximately €2 million in revenue if sold on the market. The plantation was discovered on the site of the Savatiana Monastery in the regional unit of Iraklio.

Speaking of “mammoth hashish farm”, local media neakriti.gr A special police force, an anti-terrorism and anti-narcotics unit, raided the facility on Monday and reported that they are now trying to identify and locate the drug lord.
