7-Eleven to range Mt Elephant hemp products

Mt Elephant snack bars will be sold at more than 720 Australian 7-Eleven stores from March, in three flavours – Apricot & Nut, Honey & Nut, and Salted Caramel.

“The arrangement with 7-Eleven shows the mainstream appeal of our convenient plant-based snack bars and is a significant step forward in APH’s commercialisation and distribution plans,” said Neale Joseph, MD and CEO at APH.

“We expect customers will enjoy the convenience of being able to purchase healthy, plant-based snacks from 7-Eleven’s extensive store network and experience the ‘superfood’ benefits of hemp.”

Launched in September, Mt Elephant range is stocked in more than 400 stores nationally to date. The annual sales generated from 7-Eleven is expected to reach $1-1.4 million.

Meanwhile, APH has also signed a deal with Annex Foods to supply Australian-grown hemp seeds for Annex’s ‘Red Tractor’ brand, sold throughout Australia and more than 10 countries globally.
