New data, released for the first time by the Massachusetts CCC’s renowned research department, indicates that there may have been manipulation of total yeast and mold testing in the Commonwealth as far back as 2023 (product potency testing may also have been manipulated).
Indeed, multiple testing labs reviewed during the limited time period had fail rates for total yeast and mold that were below 4% (and, in some cases, as low as 0%). A fail rate at 4% or below is considered a statistical anomaly, according to multiple public comments by scientists in the field.
