I’m thrilled to announce our clinical trial to study MDMA-Assisted Therapy for Active Duty Service Members with PTSD was selected for funding! This $4.9M DoD grant — along with a 2nd $4.9M grant awarded to a collaborative led by STRONG STAR and Emory — are not only the first DoD-funded studies of a modern psychedelic clinical trial, but they also represent a beacon of hope for our Service Member and Veterans whose lives continue to be upended from PTSD and who desperately need us to be doing more.
My heart overflows with deep gratitude not only for our immediate team who have poured their hearts into this project but also for the untold coalition of supporters over the years who made the impossible possible. Now for the real work to begin.
