Alert Feb 13 – Vermont Cannabis Control Board.. Passing Compliance Check Deadline / application window for outdoor and mixed-use cultivator licenses

February 13, 2023

The CCB will meet next Monday, February 27, at 1pm.

Passing Compliance Check Deadline: February 20, 2023

The compliance check deadline has passed for the upcoming Board meeting.

Applicants who have not passed their compliance site visit at this time will not be considered for licensure at the February 27th Board meeting.

Thank you to everyone who attended our networking event on product registration last week.

We recognize that product registration continues to be a pain point for many cannabis establishment licensees and applicants. To that end, we’ve released a statement explaining the process thus far, and laying out a path forward.

Read our full statement here.

We are in the process of migrating submitted data from the old product registration system to the current, salesforce-based system this week.

Applicants that submitted registrations through the old system will be notified by March 1, 2023 if their registrations are granted, denied, or incomplete.

If you missed the product registration event, as always, you can catch it on YouTube here.

We’ve got a Board Meeting coming up! Tune in next Monday, February 27 at 1pm for our monthly meeting.

On the docket: The Board will be discussing and voting on whether or not to close the application window for outdoor and mixed-use cultivator licenses.

This will not be a vote to permanently close the window. Rather, the Board will be discussing whether to temporarily close the window once the growing season is underway.

A reminder – the Board cannot close any application window without at least 30 days notice after a vote.
