Adult Use Rulemaking Public Hearing

The Office of Cannabis Policy (OCP) is engaging in major substantive and routine technical rulemaking to implement public laws passed by the First Regular and Special Sessions of the 131st Legislature. Public participation is a critical component of this process. As such, OCP is accepting written public comments until September 17, 2023. OCP is also holding an in-person public hearing as another opportunity to solicit public comments and address questions about the rules.

Community Listening Sessions with OCP

OCP Director John Hudak and staff are conducting a statewide listening tour in 2023. Events have been held in Washington and Androscoggin counties so far with the next events set to take place in Cumberland and Somerset counties. Join us to ask questions, share feedback, and learn more about Maine’s regulated cannabis programs!
