|Oregon Psilocybin Services – Draft Rules Released|
We are excited to enter into the final rulemaking process necessary for implementation of Measure 109, the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act.
There will be three Rules Advisory Committees (RACs) meeting in September to discuss the remaining rules. These virtual meetings are open to the public and will be recorded and posted on the web. For dates, times, links and more information go to the OPS Administrative Rules webpage.
The RACs will be discussing the draft rules released Thursday, September 1, 2022 and posted on the OPS Administrative Rules webpage. After the RACs provide their input in September, OPS will revise the rule language, and the next version of proposed rules will be open for public comment. The public comment period will run from November 1 through November 21, 2022. At that time, we will invite members of the public to submit comments in writing or attend one of three public hearings, which will soon be posted on the OPS meeting calendar online.
It is going to be a busy fall season as OPS finalizes rules and finishes the development of the processes and systems necessary to begin accepting applications for licensure on January 2, 2023.
Thank you for your ongoing interest and participation in this complex process.
