Nevada State approved cultivation and extraction facility is looking for Audit and Compliance Expert with experience on part time basis. Knowledge of Metrc, Cannabis compliance and taxes due is a must.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Excellent computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills
- 1+ years of Compliance/operations/regulatory experience in any of the following
industries: Cannabis/pharmaceutical
- High-level attention to detail, administrative skills, problem-solving skills, and highly
organized
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with current versions
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Nevada Marijuana Enforcement regulations, HIPPA and
State of Nevada Department of Taxation’s requirements
- Ability to understand state inventory tracking system (METRC) and audit all levels in
METRC
- Ability to understand all aspects of POS and audit all levels of POS users .
- Institute and maintain an effective compliance communication program for the
organization, including promoting a heightened awareness of State of Nevada
Department of Taxation and procedure
- Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be able to acquire Marijuana Agent Card prior to beginning employment
On Part time basis as needed
