An Adelaide father has been left baffled after discovering seven garbage bags full of cannabis plants dumped on the side of a road.
John Elferink was on a Sunday morning jog along Piggotts Range Road, at Onkaparinga, when he saw what looked like ordinary illegal dumping.
“I didn’t think anything of it until I passed one of the bags and noticed a particular shape, which I was familiar with because of my former work as a detective,” Elferink told 7NEWS.
