CA: BUREAU OF MEDICAL CANNABIS REGULATION TO HOLD PUBLIC REGULATION HEARING IN SAN JOSE

The regulations include general provisions applicable to all bureau licenses, distributors, transporters, dispensaries, and testing laboratories. All members of the public are invited and encouraged to participate.

WHERE: King Library, 2nd floor, 150 East San Fernando Street, San Jose, CA 95112

WHEN: Tuesday, June 13, 2017 from 1 to 6 p.m.

The schedule for the day will be as follows:

1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Public comment on the medical cannabis regulations for general provisions applicable to all bureau licenses, distributors, transporters and dispensaries.

4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Public comment on the medical cannabis regulations for testing laboratories.

“The proposed regulations for medical cannabis are the result of countless hours of research, stakeholder outreach, informational sessions and pre-regulatory meetings all across the state,” Bureau Chief Lori Ajax said. “And while we have done quite a bit of work and heard from thousands of people, there is still so much more to do. In order to make our program successful we still need your feedback.”

Individuals interested in reviewing the medical cannabis regulations can do so by visiting the new Cannabis Web Portal, www.cannabis.ca.gov.
