Authorities have destroyed with flame 7755 marijuana plants discovered in an illicit valley plantation.
The plants were cremated by military police of Oral District on February 14, 2025 at the Keng Raing Valley in Pooswek Village, Rasmey Samaki Commune, Oral District, Kampong Speu Province.
The local military police officer of Oral District said that at 7:36 a.m. on February 14, 2025, a group of 7 members of the Oral District Military Police, led by Lieutenant General Som Puttara, the district commander, collaborated with the 8 members of the Provincial Military Police Crime Suppression and Investigation Department, led by Nol Dara, the director of the department, cracked down on marijuana cultivation at the Keng Raing Valley in Pooswek Village, Rasmey Samaki Commune, Oral District, Kampong Speu Province, which has 3 farms with an area of 1 hectare.
Police are now searching for the offender who planted the illicit plants.
