Written by: Eric Singular Women have a played an essential role in the decades long endeavor to achieve cannabis legalization. Early in the days of prohibition, Billie Holiday advocated for the cannabis plant and was villainized for doing so by the likes of Henry Anslinger.
Today, the commercial cannabis industry has flourished and a great deal of credit must go to incredible female leaders who have played leading roles in accomplished this success. Simply put, women are the movers and shakers, the force behind many of the most influential and groundbreaking companies in the industrial hemp and commercial marijuana space. We are grateful to have some of the preeminent female leaders in the cannabis law space as members of the Hoban Law Group. |
