Sponsors of the Bill say that the new expanded limit is a commonsense safeguard to prevent underage consumption.
The state canabis industry has not opposed the bill, although the Colorado Press Association does.
The CPA says there is no evidence anyone has ever aimed cannabis advertising at children, and that it can be problematic to define what content may appeal to those over 21 but also to children.
The House must take one more formal vote on the advertising restriction before the bill heads to the state Senate.
