Columbia to Legalize Medical Marijuana, More on Export Provisions

As reported in an earlier post, news outlets have reported that the government of Columbia plans to approve the use of medical marijuana under an Executive decree being prepared. Reports of the extent to which the law will allow for export of cannabis-based medical products vary. A number of news outlets were silent on the issue, while others indicate the law would provide for the eventual export of the medicinal products. The International Business Times story provides a bit more specificity, reporting that the decree is expected to allow for the creation of an “export license” granting producers the right sell the marijuana-based products in countries where they’re legal.  A link to the full story follows:
