California voters in November approved Proposition 64, which legalized marijuana use in the state, and the law firm said it’s opening an office in Los Angeles.

Vincente Sederberg also said it’s moving into 455 Sherman St., into the former offices of the Colorado Department of Revenue Marijuana Enforcement Division.

It’s also adding staff, the firm said.

“Vicente Sederberg not only expanded its geographical reach, but it also doubled the number of its employees, consultants, and law clerks in 2016, bringing the total number of individuals working for the firm to more than 50,” the firm said in a statement.

Last year, the firm gave the University of Denver Sturm College of Law a $45,000 contribution to enable one faculty member to serve as a professor of marijuana law and policy.
