Drummond Woodsum is pleased to announce that Cassidy Neal has joined the firm’s growing Regulated Substances practice.  Cassidy is an experienced attorney who provides representation to start up and continuing businesses in the marijuana industry, as well as with respect to general real estate and corporate law issues.
Marijuana, CBD, and hemp businesses all face unique federal, state, and local regulations that are difficult to navigate and are ever-changing. In addition to assisting with state and local licensing, regulation and compliance, Cassidy will provide firm clients with advice regarding entity formation and business planning, trademarks, lease review, and general service agreements, as well as various leasing, zoning, and other property issues in connection with marijuana-related businesses.
“Medical and adult-use cannabis is one of the fastest-growing markets in our state. We are confident that Cassidy will be an asset to our clients as they navigate the constantly changing state and federal legal landscape,” said Hannah King, Co-Chair of the Regulated Substances Practice.
Cassidy is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law and is licensed in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermot.  He received a Masters in Criminal Justice from Boston University and a Bachelors of Arts in Criminology from the University of Southern Maine.
