The Current (and Future) State of Cannabis Law
Sequoia Room
The National Cannabis Bar Association was formed last year by lawyers who saw a need to educate and connect with other attorneys in the cannabis industry for the purpose of providing excellent, ethical, and advanced legal assistance to this developing sector. NCBA is the first
professional body to specialize in assisting and supporting attorneys who serve the cannabis industry, helping these attorneys navigate complex federal and state laws as well as local ordinances as the industry becomes increasingly regulated at all levels. In connection with
this regulation, new services and resources are being developed for lawyers serving the cannabis industry, and the industry has seen widespread growth in media coverage. Join Ms. Riccio for a lively discussion with the NCBA founders that will provide an overview of the
current legal cannabis industry, the most prominent and pressing legal issues faced by cannabis businesses, and growing trends in the near future.
