His idea is modeled after the one used in Minnesota, which limits the production of cannabis oip to two licensees.  It would also require a licensed pharmacist to be present each time the oil is distributed.

State Rep. Peake explains, the bill would also add to the list of qualified medical conditions that can receive the oil for treatment.

Governor Nathan Deal and the Georgia Commission on Medical Cannabis are against growing marijuana in the state.
