The German Cannabis Business Association writes
2025-05-05 | The 420 Hamburg expo, announced for May 23–25, 2025, promised to be a major event for the German cannabis scene—but now appears to be a potential fraud case, according to cannabib. T
he organizing company, Hundertfarben 420 GmbH, is no longer reachable, its website is offline, social media accounts have been deleted, and a venue change was not officially communicated. Companies like HIZEN report significant financial losses after paying for exhibition space, and ticket buyers fear for their money as well.
There has been no sign of refunds. Due to the lack of transparency and communication, cannabib warns against further investments or ticket purchases. Affected parties should document all payments and consider legal action. There was also a call for a class action lawsuit. The BvCW clarified: class actions are not legally possible in Germany. The model declaratory action introduced in 2018 can only be initiated by consumers.
