Greek Billionaire Detained On Island Of St Kitts “Alleged” Possession Cannabis Seeds & Cannabis Products

The report says ….A Greek billionaire has been detained on the Caribbean Island of St. Kitts after authorities discovered 5000 cannabis, seeds and other cannabis products allegedly on his private jet.

Alkiviades “Alki” David was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Unit at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport after his plane was stopped by customs authorities, reports the Vancouver Sun.

He has been charged with possession with intent to supply, possession of controlled drugs and importation of a controlled drug into the federation.

David claims the plants are “pure hemp” and were going to be used to make cannabidiol products – a non-intoxicating compound found in cannabis and hemp – for his medical cannabis company, SwissX.

The weed entrepreneur was released on $A43,000 bail, under the provision he surrendered all travel documents and report daily to the Frigate Bay Police Station.

Last month, the billionaire was before the courts for an unrelated matter which saw him ordered to pay $A15.8 million to a former employee who was allegedly fired after she refused to perform sex acts at work.

David is believed to be worth an estimated $A4.8 billion.
