CLR spoke with Jonathan Miller the US Hemp Roundtable GC on Sunday and he has primed us for the big week ahead. We will be staying on top of the developments as they come in hour by hour. Here’s the first missive from the Roundtable to start off our week

 

 

We are one step closer to permanent legalization of hemp.

Today, members of the House/Senate conference committee took time to sign off formally on the report which includes all of the hemp provisions from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Hemp Farming Act.

We expect the conference report to be filed in the House and Senate tomorrow (Tuesday), and after a few days of floor discussion and debate, we expect full passage by the end of the week.
