Ludhiana: The police have nabbed a woman, Bala Verma, a resident of EWS Colony, while she was coming from the Sandhu Colony side carrying a heavy carry bag.
The police said on suspicion, she was stopped near the garbage dump on Kakka Road and her search led to the seizure of 1.6 kg of marijuana. A case under Sections 20, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act had been registered against the woman. OC
