Kentucky: Search leads authorities to nearly 8 pounds of marijuana at Russellville home

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Two people are facing drug charges in Russellville after authorities searched a home on Thursday.

According to a uniform citation, the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force received information that residents of a home on the 100 block of North Oak Street in Russellville were selling drugs.

Authorities say after Arielle Dorris, 32, of Russellville opened the door and exited, they detected the odor of marijuana coming from the residence.

Authorities say they later executed a search warrant and located approximately 8 pounds of marijuana.

Dorris said Robert Talley, 35, of Russellville had been living at the residence for two years, according to the uniform citation.

Dorris and Talley were arrested and are charged with trafficking in marijuana, first offense, and drug paraphernalia – buy/possess.

Both were transported to the Logan County Detention Center
