LAREDO, Texas – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Laredo Port of Entry made a significant drug seizure on Friday. The operation netted over $818,000 worth of illegal narcotics.
CBP officers selected a 2014 GMC Terrain for further inspection upon its arrival at the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge.
A canine unit and a non-intrusive inspection system examination uncovered a significant amount of narcotics.
A total of 61.28 pounds of suspected cocaine was found hidden within the vehicle.
