The news is the same as day 1 of every state opening of regulated cannabis buy buy buy, fun fun fun! Let’s hope it all stays positive out of Michigan and we see less growing pains than some other states have had.

The Detroit Free Press Reports…..On the first day of sales, more than 2,200 people spent roughly $221,000 to purchase marijuana flower, infused edibles and concentrates from the three shops open in Ann Arbor — Exclusive Brands, Arbor Wellness and Greenstone Provisions — and a fourth, Michigan Supply and Provisions in Morenci, that couldn’t start selling until about 7 p.m.

“I saw the coverage of the lines and I think that was what we expected,” said Andrew Brisbo, director of the Michigan Marijuana Regulatory Agency. “The demand is already there and we’re inching toward the supply that will meet that demand.”

At Exclusive Brands, where more than 900 customers bought products, more than 200 people waiting in line were turned away when the store had to close at 9 p.m.
