olice said a 58-year-old supervisor is in custody after over 1 kilogramme of marijuana (1,000 grammes) was allegedly found in his possession.
The legal limit per person is 30 grammes.
Police said the suspect was held around 1pm on Wednesday by officers of the Tobago Divisional Task Force.
The officers, along with officers of the Emergency Response Unit, COVID-19 and Police Canine Unit, received intelligence which led them to execute a search warrant at a home along Northside Road, Castara.
During the search a black plastic bag containing a quantity of marijuana was found and seized.
The drugs had a cumulative weight of 1.026 kilogrammes.
The 58-year-old was subsequently arrested and conveyed to Scarborough Police Station.
