MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Manitou Springs Police Department warned the community about a scam website circulating online.
Police said the website called “ShroomWonders” claims to sell psilocybin, commonly known as magic mushrooms, at an address in Manitou Springs. Police said that the address in Manitou Springs is unrelated to the website.
Police said the website also used a Colorado-based phone number that directs callers to voicemail before allegedly sending a text to the caller requesting payment.
Police said records indicated the website is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
