Massachusetts: Apply Now to Join Cohort 3 of the Commission’s Social Equity Program

The Cannabis Control Commission (Commission) is now accepting applications from individuals who have been impacted by the War on Drugs and are interested in joining the third cohort of Massachusetts’ first-in-the-nation statewide Social Equity Program (SEP).

Join a network of 400-plus Participants who have gained access to benefits that aim to assist them on the path to owning, managing, working for, or alongside licensed marijuana businesses in the Commonwealth.

The deadline to be considered for SEP Cohort Three is September 17, 2021. To start your application, visit the agency’s online Massachusetts Cannabis Industry Portal (MassCIP) at MassCIPortal.com and create an account.

The Commission offers resources to help applicants understand program criteria, requirements, and benefits, and to navigate MassCIP. Get started by viewing the SEP FAQ page and MassCIP tutorials.

Still have questions? Contact Director of Equity Programs and Community Outreach Kevin Sibley at Equity@CCCMass.com or (857) 248-6059.
