CCC Commissioner Nurys Camargo Steps Down As Major Deb Goldberg Vs Shannon O’Brien Hearing Looms
CCC Commissioner Nurys Camargo, who is in the middle of a high profile lawsuit between State Treasurer Deb Goldberg and former agency Chair Shannon O’Brien, has announced she is stepping down from her position.
A huge hearing in the Goldberg Vs. O’Brien case, which involves allegations that CCC staff (and some Commissioners, including Camargo) may have plotted to “take out” O’Brien for her efforts to reform the beleaguered regulatory juggernaut, will be taking place later this month in Suffolk Superior Court.
