From adversity and challenge, new solutions and innovation emerge.

The current COVID-19 pandemic has been the spark to cause companies to look for creative solutions and work together in ways like we’ve never seen before.

Marijuana Business Daily, the company that runs the largest B2B events in Cannabis, has been forced to postpone or re-envision almost all of their conferences. In the wake of these adjustments Marijuana Business Daily still has a huge audience for their news and information resources and seek innovative ways to interact and engage in a current landscape void of traditional events.

In an effort to continually fill that gap, Marijuana Business Daily has partnered with Leafwire, the largest online Cannabis business connectivity platform. Leafwire provides an online Cannabis-focused network that gives Cannabis industry professionals a platform to stay on top of important topics, share news, ask questions, look for industry jobs, stay informed about events (virtual only during the pandemic) and, to stay connected.

“Meeting people where they are online is key right now and without the benefit of traditional in-person gatherings, it’s even more important to provide ways for our passionate, active community to engage and communicate. We always want to meet people where they are and in their communication locations of preference. Leafwire has an excellent and growing community we want to support and engage with” said Chris Day, VP of External Relations at Marijuana Business Daily.

For the first phase of the partnership, Leafwire will be hosting Industry Groups, specifically dedicated to content provided by Marijuana Business Daily. For example, Groups will include “Hemp Industry Group”, “International Cannabis Business Group”, “Cultivation/Growers Group” among others. In addition to Marijuana Business Daily’s content, there will also be subject matter experts in the Leafwire Groups to moderate questions. This partnership will give industry professionals access to resources that they might otherwise never be able to directly connect with.
