More UK Media, The Daily Mail Paints A Positive Story For Cannabis & MS Studies

Per our prior report about the Sun newspaper. The same applies to the Mail and especially so as 95% of Mail stories on cannabis issues have either been sensationalist or negative over the past 12 months. So, it is very interesting to see a report like the following however mild it may seem to a reader from the US.

The Mail report

Cannabis should be made legal for multiple sclerosis patients who get no pain relief from conventional drugs, a leading charity has urged.

The MS society says some evidence shows the world’s most popular recreational drug can dampen pain and reduce muscle spasms.

It issued a report asking for the Government to relax its ban on cannabis for patients with such symptoms who have been left with no other options.

Current laws state those caught in possession of the Class B substance face up to five years in prison in the UK.
