Legislative Developments in Medical Marijuana and Industrial Hemp in New York
The Committee on Cannabis Law is proud to announce its first legislative CLE program, which we will be held at the New York State Bar Center in our capital city, Albany, New York. For our inaugural legislative program, we chose to focus on two hot topics, New York State’s Medical Marijuana Program and Industrial Hemp Agriculture, Markets, and Research. Our program features distinguished speakers and leaders from Governor Cuomo’s Office, the New York State Legislature, the New York Department of Health, including its Director, Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement, and the New York Department of Agriculture an Markets, as well as a leading hemp researcher at Cornell College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and one of the first hemp growers under the State’s hemp research program. We are looking forward to exploring these topics in a collaborative setting with ample time for networking and Q&A discussion after the initial presentations. Please join us in the ongoing dialogue as our Committee works toward developing a legislative plan for helping New York State and the country address these important topics.”
