NORML Ask Biden & Justice Dept….”So, where are those applications for a cannabis pardon you promised”

This is the email they have sent out in the last 24 hours

We need your help. Last year, President Biden announced a plan to pardon any individual with a federal criminal record for simple marijuana possession. While we need to see every single American with marijuana charges on their record have those records expunged, this announcement represented a great first step.

Sadly, after several months, the application for a pardon is STILL not available on the Department of Justice website and there is no indication regarding how soon it might be posted.

We need you to join us in contacting the White House and demanding they take immediate action to deliver on their promise for cannabis justice. No more delays, bring relief to the thousands who would qualify NOW.

Together, we can hold the administration accountable and ensure they follow through on their promises. We can’t let justice for those who suffered under our failed war on cannabis be deferred any longer. The time to begin repairing the damage prohibition has caused is now.

CAN YOU CHIP IN TO HELP US KEEP FIGHTING TO BRING LEGALIZATION TO MORE STATES AND PURSUE JUSTICE FOR THOSE WHO SUFFERED UNDER PROHIBITION?

Thanks for all you do.
