on Tuesday, November 15, 2022

3:15 – 4:15 p.m.

Information and the Teams Link are provided below.

The RAC will be discussing Proposed Background Check Administrative Rules. These proposed rules incorporate the current rules in OAR chapter 407 division 007 with the proposed addition of Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) subject individuals to the background check rules with special consideration to ORS chapter 475A requirements. We have highlighted the updated text in the Proposed Background Check Administrative Rules in the following sections:

  • OAR 407-007-0210(12)(a)(Q)
  • OAR 407-007-0220(6)
  • OAR 407-007-0250(5)
  • OAR 407-007-0281(2)
  • OAR 407-007-0290

Please note: The Proposed Background Check Administrative Rules also contain other edits. There are some edits involving minor corrections, but the vast majority of changes are for other population groups subject to the background check rules.  We have scheduled other Rule Advisory Committees for them.

I would appreciate any feedback; please email your comments to me at kelly.c.myrick@dhsoha.state.or.us. BCU will take comments on the draft rules until 4:00 p.m., 11/19/2022.
