A joint operation Wednesday by police in Montreal and Mascouche saw more than 20 warrants executed in the Montreal region and the seizure of contraband cannabis with an estimated street value of more than $10 million. Close to 200 police participated in the operation, which was carried out mostly on the island of Montreal and saw raids conducted on warehouses in Lachine, Montreal-North and Mascouche.
