The great-granddaughter of entrepreneur and tobacconist Sir Alfred Dunhill has launched her own CBD brand.
Alexandra Dunhill has followed in the footsteps of her famous relative, who launched a tobacco company and eponymous luxury goods label, to start up her own company, with a focus on products that contain CBD or cannabidiol, derived from the cannabis plant.
Products include a £119 tincture, containing a high concentrate hemp extract that is placed directly under the tongue, and £28 flavoured vapes, in a nod to the Dunhill family history.
Alexandra, of London, explained she was inspired to launch Lady A after discovering her adult son, Piers, had been taking CBD to help with his anxiety while visiting him in Los Angeles in 2017.
