The sale of the substance, cleverly hidden in a eucalyptus grove, would have brought in over 400 thousand euros
A hole , hidden in a eucalyptus grove in the Cabras countryside , which contained 45 kg of carefully guarded hashish .
This is what the agents of the Oristano Police Flying Squad discovered during some checks on the territory.
The drugs , traced also thanks to the support of canine units , were divided into 350 blocks weighing over a hundred grams each , ready to be sold to a network of drug dealers. The sale could have brought in over 400 thousand euros .
The substance, immediately seized, is now at the disposal of the judicial authority that is coordinating the investigation activities. It is however certain – police sources specify – that part of it was intended for the local market , where young people are the main users of this type of narcotic substance.
