ARAR — The Official Spokesman of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) Capt. Mohammad Al-Nujaidi said three citizens in their 20s and 30s have been arrested in possession of two kilograms of hashish and pills subject to the medical circulation regulation.
The arrests followed a study of a video circulated on social media of a person boasting in displaying narcotics substances and money. Close security follow-ups for drug traffickers in the Northern Borders have resulted in arresting three citizens.
Capt. Al-Nujaidi added that the detainees were apprehended and faced initial legal procedures before being referred to the Public Prosecution. — SPA
