Sigh…. Uber CEO says company could get into cannabis delivery

This one is all over the news services today.

So .. dealers who have essentially been offering an uber service since the 1960’s, without the tech and now with similar app based tech throughout the US and elsewhere will now be drawn into the uber slavery cult and see their earnings drop by 80% as Uber “starb(f)ucks” the market placing their “legal” dealers on the street.

Will it start with some M&A.. who did you think they will target Eaze or weedmaps?

Let’s hope they don’t get into the market but unfortunately they will.

CNBC reports the truly depressing news

  • Uber could start delivering cannabis once federal regulation allows the company to do so, CEO Dara Khosrowshahi told CNBC on Monday.
  • “When the road is clear for cannabis, when federal laws come into play, we’re absolutely going to take a look at it,” Khosrowshahi said in a “Tech Check” interview.
  • For now, the company said, it’s going to focus its efforts on its current delivery options in its key categories such as food and alcohol.

“When the road is clear for cannabis, when federal laws come into play, we’re absolutely going to take a look at it,” Khosrowshahi said in a “TechCheck” interview.

And so far, 16 states, along with the District of Columbia, have legalized cannabis for recreational use.
