Former magistrate, David Heilpern, has for the last few years been highlighting the myriad of issues around medical cannabis and the criminal justice system in Australia.

Recently we launched an open letter campaign which asks cannabis community members to write letters to their Local Members of Parliament. There are two main goals for the campaign:

Share your story to engage MPs who have a voice in the decision making process.
To invite your local MP to a Government Officials Roundtable being held on the 29th of March.

There are two ways you can help push this campaign forward:

Share the letter to local member blog on your social media and ask your connections to support.

The Drive Change Petition now has over 20,000 signatures and the number is growing daily.

The Letter To Local Members campaign has been featured on Cannabiz and Hinterland Co’s email newsletter.

The Drive Change team will be attending the United In Compassion Symposium, which runs from May 20-22.
