The Oregon Health Authority and Department of Human Services – Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) Info and Application – Rules Advisory Committee (RAC) Info and Application 12/08/2021 Oregon Psilocybin Services

8 December 2021

Oregon Psilocybin Services is seeking participants to serve on our first round Rule Advisory Committees (RACs) in February 2022. RACs are an important process that allow members of the public an opportunity to provide input on proposed administrative rules before they become effective. RACs are comprised of individuals who have subject matter expertise and members of the public who are likely to be affected by the proposed rules. The RAC process is designed to include a diversity of opinions and viewpoints. Although RACs evaluate fiscal and racial impact of the proposed rules and make recommendations, Oregon Health Authority retains decision making authority.

Oregon Psilocybin services will convene two RACs to discuss proposed rules on Products, Testing, and Training during February 14 to February 25, 2022. Oregon Psilocybin Services has expedited rulemaking that will affect laboratory accreditation and certification of training programs to facilitate applicants for laboratory and facilitator licenses completing requirements prior to the application period. We will convene additional RACs later in 2022. If you would like to serve on the February RACs, please complete the application form and e-mail your resume and application form to by Monday, December 27, 2021.
