HARTFORD — Lawmakers are moving closer to an agreement on a bill that would legalize marijuana in Connecticut, with a vote in the General Assembly possible next week.

House Speaker Matt Ritter, D-Hartford, said the odds are moving in favor of passage. Just 10 days ago, he put the bill’s chances at 50-50.
On Tuesday, Ritter said, “my 50-50 has gone up to 57-43.”
