A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of magic mushrooms.
Police stopped a vehicle in Goodman Street, Burton, where a 24-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of magic mushrooms. These are wild mushrooms with hallucinogenic effects.
His teenage driver was also dealt with for possession of cannabis,
The incidents took place on Monday, September 28.
“A Seat Ibiza was stopped in Goodman Street and a man, aged 24, from the local area, was reported for possession of magic mushrooms.
“The driver, a man aged 19, was dealt with by way of community resolution for possession of cannabis.”
A community resolution provides an opportunity for the criminal to avoid the criminal justice process with an agreement from the victim.
