We are excited to present a full day of cannabis industry continuing legal education for the second year in a row in connection with the National Cannabis Industry Association’s Cannabis Business Summit & Expo. The NCBA Presents: Continuing Legal Education for Lawyers program will be held on on June 12th from 9:30 am – 5:00 pm, with a reception following the program until 6:00 pm, in Oakland, California.
We will cover topics such as environmental law, legal advances in related industries like insurance and banking, structuring cannabis businesses for growth, and the current legal status of cannabidiol. We will close the CLE with a panel addressing ethics issues in the representation of cannabis businesses — a particularly thorny issue that more states are beginning to address head on. Join long-time cannabis law attorneys Lara DeCaro, Kimberly Simms, Mitzi Vaughn, Shawn Hauser, Michael Chernis, Robert Raich, Bob Hoban, Tom Hicks, Mary Shapiro, and more for this full-day legal educational event.
