We are extremely pleased to announce NCBA’s relationship with CEB-Continuing Education of the Bar – California. Our partnership offers NCBA members several benefits:
1) Access to CEB’s cannabis microsite: MJLawHub provides information about significant legal issues arising from state legalization and its conflicts with federal law. CEB is tracking national topics emerging from various ethics rules, inconsistent federal enforcement policies, and non-uniform civil and criminal statutes and court actions that often collide. And, CEB provides analysis and practice tips as the issues evolve in this practice area, drawn from activity in five states as well as California’s medical marijuana statute. Check it out!
2) CEB offers a 10% discount to current NCBA members on designated CEB books (including both print and single OnLAW titles) and OnDemand and LiveCast programs (no discounts provided on program passports, EPIC or FLIC, or any other premium products).
3) NCBA will coordinate with CEB to recruit attorney authors and speakers for CEB reporter articles, blog posts and articles for CEB’s marijuana hub, book updates, and programs about cannabis law. Please let us know if you are interested in participating.
In addition, NCBA and CEB will explore opportunities to co-present future programs on cannabis law.
NCBA committee chairs and volunteer members are all working hard to increase your membership benefits. We are continually aiming to find ways to educate our members, connect members with other lawyers serving this industry, and provide opportunities for our members through partnerships with groups like CEB.
