Day 1 of the 6th annual Virtual Cannabis Research Conference kicks off today, August 8.
The multidisciplinary three day conference is hosted by Oregon State University – Global Hemp Innovation Center and the Institute of Cannabis Research at Colorado State University – Pueblo. The conference is hosted by the platform Whova. The platform is easily accessible by mobile and desktop. There are 188 attendees at this morning’s (08/08) opening presentation. Attendees appear to be from Research Organizations and Universities from all over the world.
Opening remarks presented research by a group working with Dr. Linda Parker, author of Cannabinoids and the Brain. Sessions held throughout the day cover genetics, human health, livestock as well as business, education, and product manufacturing related to cannabis. I look forward to learning and sharing the research presented.
