Private Business Attorney
Veriheal is a rapidly growing canna-tech platform that is looking to bring on a private attorney to join us on our epic journey. Our main office is located in Denver, Colorado with employees spread all over the globe. The candidate is not required to sit in Denver however, as they will work directly with staff and company founders in multiple locations.
Job Description:
- Providing direct legal support & guidance to company founders and executive members of staff
- Finding ethical solutions to legal matters both externally & internally
- Remaining up to date with and informing respective company members of changes in legislation which directly impact company endeavors, policies, or operations
- Providing legal representation for the company in the event that it participates in any litigation
- Consulting directly with the Human Resources Department regarding employee contracts & other various HR related matters
- Assisting in the preparation of of legal documents
- Revisions of necessary contracts and employee documents
- Pursuit of competitor litigations, IE: cease and desists
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Law
- Minimum four years practicing Business Law
- Experience within the realm of legal representation for start-ups that are currently still in their developmental stages
- Cannabis and/or Data law experience preferred but not required
- Familiarity with the practices surrounding Acquisitions & Mergers or International Business Law also considered a bonus

Pay: $125,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
