Ketamine clinics shut down. Ketamine Wellness Centers, one of the largest ketamine clinics operating out of nine states, shut down without notice this week. The centers were acquired by the psychedelic wellness platform Delic Corp. in 2021.
The circumstances behind the closure are unclear, and Delic and various KWCs did not respond when Stat News reached out for comment. “Suspicion is swirling around the closures, and the impact it could have on patients who depended on Ketamine Wellness Centers,” reports Stat News.
Field Trip also plans to shut down some of its ketamine clinics amidst profit struggles, and have hired a consultant to help restructure their business model.
