The husband of a glamorous Met Police officer has been jailed for 18 years for selling vast amounts of cocaine stamped with the logo of the luxury watch brand Hublot.
Albanian Julian Agalliu, 47, used EncroChat to carry out drug deals before the encrypted app favoured by gangsters was taken down by international law enforcement in 2020.
The former ballet dancer boasted to associates that he was married to PC Rasvinder Agalliu, 45, – who told her YouTube followers how to create the ‘perfect booty’ – and was warned to tell his wife to ‘hide’ documents as the net closed.
National Crime Agency (NCA) officers uncovered messages on EncroChat referring to 100kg cocaine parcels, stamped with the Hublot logo, as well as gun deals, Woolwich Crown Court heard.
Jurors were told how cocaine was also found at the couple’s home in Hadley Wood, north London. PC Agalliu was not charged with drug offences but last December she was found to have breached the Met’s standards of professional behaviour and was sacked from the force.
